The City Civic

We aim to play an influential part in Civic life of the City of London and ensure that the business of insurance is a central part of the strategy of the City. To further this objective we encourage and support members who wish to become Ward Club members, Common Councillors, Aldermen/women, Sheriffs or aspire to the position of Lord Mayor.

We participate fully in Civic Livery life, including the Livery Committee, the Lord Mayor’s Show, City Giving Day, the Lord Mayor’s Appeal and the Sheriffs’ London Challenge.

We maintain and develop strong links with our fellow Livery Companies, and specifically the other Modern Companies and the Financial Services Group.
