iENGAGE – for young professionals
iENGAGE is the Worshipful Company of Insurers’ initiative to engage younger professionals in the insurance market.
It was formed in early 2018 and is aimed at individuals under the age of 45 in the WCI, a growing area of its membership, which nearly 20 now under 35.
It has a leadership committee which is developing a programme of events to help young professionals develop their careers. It will also be promoting social events to help members network with others at similar stages of their careers as well as participating in the full range of social and networking event run by the WCI.
iENGAGE has also created an Associate programme, for people to try the WCI at a reduced cost for two years. Click on the links for more information and to find out how to join:

iENGAGE Events
iENGAGE hosts regular meet-ups to give members the opportunity to network with their peers and also senior market professionals.

The second Thursday of each month: After work meetup alongside iWIN from 5pm onwards at Balls Brothers, Minster Court
Every Thursday: “Back to Work by 2pm” Lunch

Fireside Chats
Our Fireside Chat sessions launched in October 2023, where members of the iENGAGE committee host converstaions with senior members of the Company.
Our guests will talk about their journey in insurance, their experience of the Livery company and advice for younger professionals.
The Fireside Chats will be recorded and posted on our LinkedIn page.

iEngage Your Career
iEngage my Career is a mentoring programme run in conjunction with Noggin. The programme ran for the first time in 2021 and the feedback was very positive.
The programme is fully funded by the WCI for 12 places in each programme. Members of the WCI get first refusal with remaining spaces being offered across the market.
This programme is designed for participants who are between the early stages of their career and a senior position. The important qualifier is how long you have been in your current role and how you feel about that. If you have been in role for a at least a couple of years and are unsure about the action to take to move into your next role, then this course is for you.
