Lady Mayoress's Sleep Out

Help raise awareness of the issue of homelessness by joining the Lady Mayoress for a night in historic Guildhall Yard.

Trade your cosy, warm bed for a night and join the Lady Mayoress and Lord Mayor (travel plans permitting) at our Sleep Out. Launched by Amanda Keaveny in 2022, this event offers a glimpse into the reality of sleeping rough while raising awareness of homelessness in the City and supporting two fantastic charitable causes.

50% of net proceeds from the event will go to The Lord Mayor's Appeal partner charity Homewards, a five-year Royal Foundation programme bringing together organisations and individuals to find local solutions to homelessness. The 50% balance of net proceeds will be donated to The Pret Foundation who tackle hunger, poverty and homelessness in communities local to Pret shops in the UK and around the world.
