The City Livery Yacht Club is delighted to announce that bookings are now open to enter to the 56th Inter-Livery Regatta taking place in Cowes from Friday 16 to Saturday 17 May 2025. Livery crews will compete to win the coveted Lord Mayor's Cup.

The format is for crews to meet informally at RORC Cowes for a buffet supper on the Friday evening. Racing action takes place on the Saturday with two races - the first following a dockside briefing in the morning, and a second race commencing in the early afternoon. The Island Sailing Club's Race Officer will run both races. The ISC also offer members and guests facilities to watch the races from their terrace. The Regatta weekend concludes on the Saturday evening with a Presentation Dinner which will take place at the prestigious Royal Yacht Squadron.

Arrangements

In addition to those who have use of their own boat, CLYC will be assisting in organising two additional boats for the event - a crew boat for members of CLYC which will compete for the Lord Mayor's Cup, and a boat for freemen and liverymen interested in sailing who might become members, which will compete for the Visitor's Vase. The idea for these boats is that the crews will be a mixture of individuals, rather than the boat hired by a sole Livery Company. The cost of joining the crew and visitor boats will include the charter, cost of a skipper including their meal tickets, provisions for the weekend, and the mooring fee for Cowes Yacht Haven.
