iNED will lauch its 2025 programme with a deep dive into the reinsurance market.

Reinsurance programmes sit at the centre of enabling any insurer to operate within its risk appetite, manage earnings volatility and optimise capital efficiency. As market dynamics evolve, the design and efficacy of the outwards reinsurance programme is very relevant for all insurers and their NEDs.

This Forum will provide delegates with an understanding of the recently completed 1/1 renewal season, as well as a view of how the market is expected to develop as we move through 2025. It will also deliver key insights into top market trends, themes, and market opportunities. There will also be specific sections of the Forum focused on reinsurance for Cyber, US Casualty and Legacy Management, as well as a Q&A session when delegates will be able to put their questions.

This will be an in-person Forum hosted by Aon in the Aon Centre. The speakers will be Rupert Moore, CEO for Aon Reinsurance Solutions UK, Michael Van Slooten, Head of Market Insights, Barry Gale, Global Head of Legacy and Alex Podmore from the Cyber Reinsurance Solutions leadership team.

Learning Objectives

By attending this Forum, delegates should be able to:

  • Articulate the key highlights of the recent 1/1 reinsurance renewal season.
  • Describe key reinsurance market trends, themes, and opportunities.
  • Identify specific issues around placing Cyber programmes.
  • Explain US Casualty adverse development patterns and how they can be managed.
  • Better challenge the design and efficacy of their respective organisation’s outwards reinsurance programme.
