WCI toasts her Majesty

Over 80 members and their guests toasted Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth on reaching her Platinum Jubilee in the splendour of the Wellington Room at the Carlton Club on Friday.
It was a joyous occasion with many members embracing the patriotic mood of the occasion with red, white and blue attire, with event organiser Branko Bjelobaba stealing the show (pictured with Livery Committee chair Sara Fardon).
The WCI sends Her Majesty the warmest greetings on her 70 years of selfless service to the country. "Long May She Reign".
• The Carlton Club is one of West London’s most iconic venues and one of the capital’s best examples of Regency architecture. It has been frequented by Conservative Prime Ministers from the 19th century onwards and has witnessed many moments of high political drama, with an extensive art collection inside that members can view as part of the lunch.
