Master leads the celebrations at Mansion House

Over 300 members and guests of the WCI gathered at Mansion House for our annual Mansion House Banquet with Master Claire Burrell leading the celebrations.
Lord Mayor Michael Mainelli Sheriffs Dame Susan Langley and Bronek Masojada – both Insurers – joined the Master at the top table. The Lord Mayor spoke about the importance of the insurance industry to the City of London and the vital part it plays in the economic life of the country.
The Master spoke about the WCI’s leading role in promoting greater diversity in the insurance market but highlighted that there was still a long way to go.
The evening featured the traditional Loving Cup ceremony and some spectacular playing on valveless trumpets that had the guests enthralled.
It was also an opportunity to showcase the support of our military affiliations with prizes awarded to the most outstanding representatives from each affiliate.
