Master David Sales says engagement will be the priority for 2022

In his Christmas video message to members Master David Sales says "engagement has become a key priority alongside "delivering above and beyond members' expectations".
He says the Company hopes to have "a full livery programme of in-person events" next year as soon as public health restrictions permit, although he says virtual events are now here to stay: "I don't think that virtual events will disappear entirely. There are some events that lend themselves well to that platform", especially by allowing members from outside London to take part.
He thanked everyone at the WCI who has made it possible for the Compnay to remain extremely active over the last 20 months, saying that the WCI "continues to prosper and attract a strong number of high calibre new members".
He also paid tribute to the Company's Beadle, Chris Cornell, who passed away recently following a long illness.
