Insurers successful in City elections

Several members of the Company were successful in the recent elections to the City of London’s Court of Common Council.

They were led by Master David Sales who was elected in Aldgate ward alongside new member Tim McNally.

In Lime Street ward, three of the four elected members are now insurers, as Irem Yerdelen joined Dominic Christian and Henry Colthurst who were both re-elected.

All five will sit as independents on the 100 strong body which is traditionally controlled by independents.

“I would like to congratulate my fellow WCI members on their success. It underlines the commitment the Company has to supporting the City of London”, said David Sales.
