The Master, Court and members of the Worshipful Company of Insurers join the nation in mourning the passing of HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh.
"On this sad day Prince Philip's long service to our country is something we should celebrate. He has left a rich legacy, not least in his association with the City of London and the Livery Movement and his support for many charities", said Master David Sales
"It is his service to our country and his devoted support of Her Majesty The Queen for which he will be most affectionately remembered.
"We send our most sincere condolences to Her Majesty and all the members of The Royal Family."
