HM The Queen

The Worshipful Company of Insurers joins the nation and the Commonwealth in mourning the passing Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Master David Sales led the tributes from the Company.

"Queen Elizabeth was a beacon of loyalty and service. Her dedicated service to the country and its citizens over her remarkable 70 year reign will be remembered as one of the great eras of British history.

"She was Patron of our professional body, the Chartered Insurance Institute, and took a keen interest in the City of London, visiting Lloyd's on many occasions. Like so many British institutions we placed great value on her support. 

"We send our sincerest condolences to all the members of the Royal Family at their personal loss."

In accordance with protocols we will be reviewing all Livery events during the period of official mourning.
